The University of Hartford, established in 1957, is an independent, nonsectarian, coeducational institution located in West Hartford, Connecticut. In recent years, UHart has invested in campus improvements, including the opening of the Francis X. and Nancy Hursey Center for Advanced Engineering and Health Professions in 2021. This 60,000-square-foot facility features specialized and technology-rich spaces designed to meet the needs of high-caliber students and serve as a feeder for in-demand students for local employers .
