The University of West London (UWL) is a public research university in the United Kingdom, with campuses in Ealing, Brentford, Reading, and Ras Al Khaimah (UAE). Established in 1992 as Thames Valley University, it has a rich history dating back to 1860 when the Lady Byron School was founded. UWL is renowned for its career-focused courses and excellent teaching, consistently ranking among the top universities in the UK.
In 2024, UWL launched the School of Medicine and Biosciences and established the Hellenic Institute of Maritime Studies in London.
