Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, established in 1947, is a public institution located on its own island in the Texas Gulf Coast. It offers over 80 degree programs across seven colleges and schools, including Business, Education and Human Development, Liberal Arts, Nursing and Health Sciences, Science, Engineering, and Graduate Studies. The university is recognized for its federal designation as a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) and is one of only six federal test sites for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in the nation. Additionally, its College of Nursing and Health Sciences has been recognized by the White House on several occasions, and the Harte Research Institute leads the Texas One Gulf Center of Excellence dedicated to advancing sustainable use and conservation of the Gulf of Mexico .​

TAMU-CC offers a unique campus experience with palm tree-lined pathways, nearby natural wetlands, a scenic hike-and-bike trail, and a university beach, providing students with opportunities for hands-on learning and access to beach activities .​
